- 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fruit Mixture
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 2 medium bananas, sliced into rounds
- 1 small Granny Smith apple, diced
- 1 cup diced cantaloupe
- 1 cup diced pineapple
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Toppings
- Granola
- Shredded coconut
- Raisins
- Sliced almonds
- Pecans
- Walnuts
- Honey
Instructions
- Prepare the Creamy Topping: In a small bowl, combine the plain yogurt, sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, and vanilla extract. Stir well until all ingredients are fully blended to create a smooth, sweet cream mixture.
- Mix the Fruit: In a large bowl, add the sliced strawberries, banana rounds, diced Granny Smith apple, diced cantaloupe, diced pineapple, and fresh blueberries. Gently toss the fruits together to evenly distribute them without bruising.
- Assemble the Bowls: Divide the mixed fruit evenly into 4 serving bowls. Drizzle about 1/4 cup of the prepared sweet cream mixture over each bowl, coating the fruit lightly for a creamy finish.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle each bowl with your desired toppings such as crunchy granola, sliced almonds, chopped pecans or walnuts, raisins, shredded coconut, and a drizzle of honey to add texture and extra sweetness. Serve immediately for best freshness.
Notes
- Use fresh, ripe fruits for the best flavor and texture in your Bionicos.
- Adjust the amount of sweetened condensed milk if you prefer a less sweet topping.
- Feel free to substitute any fruits based on seasonality or personal preference.
- This recipe is best served fresh and does not store well once the topping is added as fruit can become soggy.
- For a dairy-free version, use coconut yogurt and a non-dairy condensed milk alternative.
