- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the dish evenly.
- Layer Marinara Sauce: Spread a layer of marinara sauce evenly on the bottom of a baking dish to prevent sticking and add flavor.
- Add Pierogi Layer: Place a layer of pierogi on top of the marinara sauce, arranging them side by side to cover the surface.
- Spread Ricotta Cheese: Evenly spread half of the ricotta cheese over the pierogi layer to add creaminess and binding.
- Sprinkle Cheeses: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and half of the Parmesan cheese over the ricotta for rich, melty texture and flavor.
- Repeat Layers: Repeat the layering process with remaining pierogi, marinara sauce, ricotta, and cheeses, finishing with sauce and cheeses on top.
- Cover and Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes to heat through and meld flavors.
- Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Cool Before Serving: Let the lasagna cool for 5 minutes to set and make serving easier.

- You can boil the pierogi before layering if using frozen, according to package instructions, for best texture.
- Feel free to add cooked spinach or sautéed mushrooms for extra vegetable layers.
