Description

These Rosemary and Butter Pull-Apart Rolls are soft, buttery yeast rolls infused with fresh rosemary and a touch of sea salt. Perfect for sharing at family dinners or holiday gatherings, they are baked until golden brown and served warm, inviting everyone to pull apart and enjoy the aromatic, fluffy bread with rich buttery flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

Rolls

  • 24 Original Yeast Dinner Dough Rolls, defrosted according to package instructions

Butter Mixture

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the baking pan: Line a 9-inch springform pan with a removable bottom with aluminum foil, then spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking. Set the pan aside for later use.
  2. Mix butter and rosemary, and coat rolls: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with the chopped fresh rosemary. Once the rolls are fully thawed, dip each dough ball into the butter-rosemary mixture, ensuring they are well coated. Then, tightly arrange the butter-coated dough balls in a single layer inside the prepared springform pan.
  3. Allow dough to rise: Cover the pan of rolls with a clean kitchen towel and place it in a moderately warm area. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until the rolls have doubled in size, which will make them fluffy and soft.
  4. Bake the rolls: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 30 to 35 minutes or until they turn golden brown on top. If they begin to brown too quickly, tent the rolls with aluminum foil to prevent over-browning. After baking, brush the rolls with additional melted butter and sprinkle sea salt over the top for extra flavor. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
  5. Serve and enjoy: Carefully remove the sides of the springform pan, then serve the buttery, aromatic pull-apart rolls warm. These rolls are perfect for sharing and pulling apart bite by bite.

Notes

  • Use fresh rosemary for the best flavor; dried rosemary can be more pungent and may alter texture.
  • If rolls brown too fast, cover with foil to avoid burning.
  • Keep rolls covered while rising to retain moisture and yeast activity.
  • Can be served with additional butter, garlic spread, or dipping oils.
  • Make sure to defrost the dough rolls fully according to package instructions before starting.
